I hope you could attend our last webinar on “Insurance for Language Service Providers and Language Professionals”. Webinars are great platforms to share knowledge and experiences and as Members it is one of your rights to host one on a topic that falls under your area of comfort and expertise. We have options for both promotional as well as knowledge sharing webinars and I urge you to make the most of this possibility and share your experiences, while getting some invaluable visibility for your business. Do reach out to the Secretary of CITLoB, Asavari Tamhane, and the Secretary of CITLoB-ALP, Rasika Gumaste, for more information on how you could go about hosting your own webinar.
Speaking of webinars, it is time for something bigger, now that CITLoB has been operational for a while. In that sense, I am excited to share with you that we will be organising our first ever Annual Conference, Samvād, on the 30th of September which happens to be the International Translation Day. Of course, we would like each one of you to be associated with this event in whatever capacity you can. Apart from volunteering, speaker and panellist opportunities, you can also support the event as a sponsor. You will receive more information regarding how you could get involved, in due course of time, but I can tell you that we have a host of exciting topics and sessions lined up for this event that is sure to receive national and international attention.
This month, we will also have our usual Quarterly Members Meet and our New Members Meet. Exciting days ahead then! Time to shake off the pandemic inertia and throw your weight behind all our events and help us make them a grand success.
