Welcome to CITLoB.in, the official website of Confederation of Interpreting, Translation and Localisation Businesses, referred to in this document as "CITLoB", "we", "us", "our" and by other cognate terms as the context may demand.
We provide a variety of services on this site. Some of the services are directly provided by us and some services are provided by third party service providers. In case you use services of a third party service provider, the term "CITLoB" will include such third party service provider unless the context makes clear that the term "CITLoB" excludes such third party service provider.
These "Terms of Use" (hereinafter "Terms") will govern services provided by us. These Terms will stand supplemented by the conditions that the third party service provider may separately prescribe.
Please read these "Terms of Use" carefully. You can avail of services provided by CITLoB only if you agree to these Terms. By accessing or continuing to use this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please discontinue use of this site.
We encourage you to take a printout of these Terms and carefully review the Terms before using this site.
Only adults can register with CITLoB. No minor can register with CITLoB.
Before you can use the services provided by CITLoB you have to register yourself. While registering you have to truthfully provide all information necessary to complete registration. In case information is not truthfully provided CITLoB reserves the right to suspend services as soon as such fact comes to its notice.
CITLoB reserves unconditionally the right to refuse registration or refuse to provide services even after registration has been accepted.
Please keep your registration details and your password confidential. Do not let anyone else access your account, or do anything else that might jeopardise the security of your account.
CITLoB allows creation of community and Interest groups, however responsibility of inviting any members to such groups & communities solely vests with you and CITLoB shall not assume any liability.
In using our services and that of third party service providers you must not access or try to access information relating to other users or hack into accounts of such other users or upload viruses or other malicious code or do anything that will impair the service of CITLoB. If you do or attempt to do any of the foregoing, CITLoB will deny you services without any further notice and also take such other action as is permissible under law.
All content on this website, whether by way of text, images, audio or video, is the property of CITLoB, whether by way of copyright, trademarks, patent or otherwise. The content is protected by law and you can only use it as provided hereinafter.
You have a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sub-licensable license to access and use the content. This license is strictly limited to the extent necessary for you to fairly use the services provided by CITLoB. This license is strictly for non-commercial use of the content.
You are specifically prohibited from copying the content or using it for any purpose not covered by the license granted above.
Please note that CITLoB will from time to time upgrade its website. Such upgrades may result in changes in the computer or other device that you use for accessing CITLoB's services without notice to you. By accepting these Terms you have granted permission to CITLoB to make upgrades as above.

Kindly consider the sensitivities of other members and maintain the content in a respectful manner. You, undertake to indemnify and keep indemnified CITLoB from any and all harm that may result from breach of the aforesaid representation or warranty.
Please note that we provide, under these Terms, access to third party websites and services provided on such websites. We reiterate that we are not obliged to monitor the content posted by third party service providers. It is also possible that in order to avail of third party services you may also have to interact face to face with third party service providers.
While we have verified the background of service providers on best effort basis, we do not offer any warranty as to the services offered by such party service providers. We specifically do not warrant that such services are fit for any particular purpose.
You are advised to satisfy yourself as to the quality and appropriateness of such third party services. In case you are dis-satisfied with the services of a third party service provider you must seek recourse directly against such third party service provider. CITLoB disclaims all responsibility in relation to third party service providers.
CITLoB will conduct contests, conferences, exhibitions and other events from time to time and in certain cases may announce rewards and prizes. The decision by CITLoB is final and binding and CITLoB reserves the right to modify the rules and criteria as it may consider appropriate.
Our collection, use and protection of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
All prices, payments, taxes and refunds are governed by our Payment Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
We are not making any representation or offer any warranty, express or implied, that the services we offer are fit for any purpose or that they will meet any requirements. Your use of CITLoB services is at your own risk, and we do not represent or warrant that our website is free from viruses or other malware. You must protect your computer or other device appropriately.
In case CITLoB is proven to be liable under these Terms, CITLoB's liability will be limited to the fees or other charges collected by it. CITLoB will not under any circumstances be liable for indirect, consequential or incidental loss.
A contract between CITLoB and you comes into being only after you have registered yourself in accordance with these Terms and CITLoB has accepted such registration.

Any notice must be in writing. CITLoB does not accept notices by email or other electronic means.
All disputes between CITLoB and you will be strictly subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Pune and nowhere else. All disputes will be subject to the laws of India.
