4. Job Description

• Assist Delivery Head in the preparation of project scope, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Communicate intensively with clients, vendors and inter-departmental teams to establish cordial/effective working relationship
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time with expected quality and Zero defect
• Review and provide timely feedback after completion of projects when required to the team members
• Closely monitor and control project profitability
• Ensures that the team maintains accurate and complete electronic project records
• Implement best practices and processes
• Identify project/process improvement opportunities
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Coordinate and document the lessons learnt process including Project post-portem
• Conduct risk assessment and strategic planning of activities to minimize potential project issues
• Handle client escalations and provide resolution within designated timeframe
• Team Management

Desired Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Linguistic studies (any language)
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in managing Localization projects (multilingual translation/e-learning/ multimedia projects/ mobile app localization etc) is a must

Desired Technical Skill:

 

• Knowledge of MS Office as well as Translation and Localization software (such as CAT tools and Translation Management System software)

• Knowledge of best practices in localization industry including linguistic quality, document translation, desktop publishing, multimedia localization, and website localization

• Knowledge of project management principles, practices and tools, including the effective use of project management software
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification will be highly preferred
