The Globalization and Localization Association (GALA), in collaboration with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Translation (DGT), is hosting a free webinar introducing the Train-the-Trainer initiative. The programme enables translation educators to spend time within companies, observe real-world workflows, tools, and quality assurance practices, and bring these industry insights back to the classroom.
The session will explore how language service providers can build meaningful partnerships with academic institutions, bridge the gap between translator training and industry requirements, and participate in the initiative without placing an unnecessary burden on their teams.
